Wellness & Vaccination

Help us keep your animal companion healthy by bringing him or her in for regular wellness visits. Dogs and cats age faster than people, so significant changes in your pet’s health can happen in a short time. Wellness visits allow us to diagnose diseases and health conditions early when they’re easier to treat or manage. These visits also allow us to keep all necessary vaccinations and titer tests up to date and on schedule. We recommend that healthy adult dogs and cats visit us once a year. Puppies, kittens, senior pets, and pets with health issues or illnesses need more frequent checkups. For our canine patients, we also recommend annual heartworm testing.

Titer Testing

Measuring your pet’s antibody levels has never been more accessible. With titer testing, we can make sure your pet has adequate immunity to the core viruses we routinely vaccinate for and allow us to minimize vaccines while making sure that your pet is protected. Learn more about titer testing here.

‘Vaccines have been one of the most significant factors in reducing serious infectious diseases. Although all veterinarians agree vaccines are necessary, studies showing the minimum duration of immunity (DOI) of at least three years (and likely longer) are causing veterinarians to question the frequency with which these vaccines are administered.’
